Felix Sutiono

Executive Director and Partner

Felix serves on the Investment Committee, contributing to the evaluation of investment opportunities and overseeing the execution of investment transactions across the firm’s alternative investment platform. He also leads the firm’s investment governance, institutional development, and risk management initiatives, strengthening the governance architecture that supports disciplined investment decision-making and sustainable long-term value creation.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in global financial markets, specialising in Rates, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Credit derivatives. His expertise spans portfolio optimisation, capital efficiency, electronic execution, trade lifecycle management, and institutional risk management across major financial centres including Singapore, Australia, Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Prior to joining Genesis Strategic Capital, Felix held senior leadership positions at Standard Chartered, Nomura and Morgan Stanley, where he led numerous strategic transformation initiatives. These included establishing a joint venture to expand financial markets solutions for ultra-high-net-worth clients, leading a G10 Rates portfolio optimisation programme that delivered approximately USD 1.6 billion in capital savings, and driving the transition of LIBOR-linked products to alternative risk-free benchmarks across global markets.

Beyond his technical expertise, Felix has a proven ability to translate strategic vision into institutional execution by strengthening governance frameworks, designing scalable operating models and enhancing organisational effectiveness across complex global financial institutions. This combination of investment expertise, institutional leadership and governance complements Genesis’ disciplined investment approach and strengthens the firm’s ability to create enduring value for its investors.

As a certified Human-Centered Design Practitioner, he also brings a client-centric approach to strategic problem solving, ensuring that innovation remains aligned with investor needs and sustainable business outcomes.

Felix holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) from the University of Sydney and a Master of Commerce (Finance) from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is also a licensed Capital Markets Services Representative regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
